Get into the holiday spirit with us! We have several programs for you to take part in:
Christmas Storytime & Crafts: Join us for our regular Tuesday morning storytimes, where we’ll be reading Christmas-themed books and making holiday crafts. No registration required – just come and enjoy the fun! For kids 0-5 and their caregivers.
Thursday After-School Fun: Our Thursday afternoon activities will also be Christmas-themed, including reindeer antler and jingle bell crafts. Be sure to register in advance by calling or visiting our website! – bc-cl.ca – 613-678-2216
Christmas Parade – Nov 29: On the night of the Christmas parade, we’re hosting a special storytime and craft for all ages at 6:00 PM. We will be making Christmas ornaments! No registration needed, just bring your holiday spirit!
Adult Take-Home Craft – Dec 1: We have a limited number of take-home Christmas decoration crafts for adults, available starting December 1. Act fast – they go quickly!
Christmas Song Guessing Contest: Stop by the library and enter our Christmas contest. Guess the Christmas song lyrics in the jar for a chance to win a gift basket of Christmas goodies. The draw will take place on November 18.
Book on Every Bed Program: A Special Reminder
This year, over 100 local children have been matched with community members who are providing a book for Christmas morning. If you’ve volunteered to donate a book, please remember to bring your book and gift bag to the library by the end of the month.
We still have children left who need to be paired with a sponsor. If you’re able to help, by purchasing a book for a child or donating money, we encourage you to call or stop by the library to get matched with a child.
Let’s make sure every child has a book to open this Christmas!
