It’s not too late to support the Champlain Library with the Book on Every Bed campaign.
The Champlain Library provides new books to children whose families are recipients of Christmas baskets from the Vankleek Hill and L’Orignal Food Banks. Donations of new books are made so that these children will wake up Christmas morning with a book on his or her bed.
The library is also asking for donations of new magazines and activity books to help cheer up the residents of Revera Heritage Lodge and MacDonald Residence in Vankleek Hill and Champlain Long Term Care Residence in L’Orignal during these unsettling times.
If you would like to donate a new book for the Book on Every Bed campaign, please call the library at 613-678-2216 or stop by the library to be matched with a child. Your support is greatly appreciated. All books must be unwrapped and accompanied with a gift bag and tissue paper by noon on Saturday November 26, 2022.
