A suspect is facing a series of charges in connection with an incident at a property in Hawkesbury.
On November 3, 2024, at around 6:15 pm, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a break and enter in progress. As a result, a 44-year-old male from Hawkesbury was arrested and charged with:
- Break, enter a place – with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Mischief – destroys or damages property
- Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court – 2 counts
- Breach of recognizance
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident. The accused was brought to the hospital for medical assessment, after which he will be held for bail.
