Just in time for the 2024-2025 indoor ice season, the Township of Champlain is reopening the Vankleek Hill Arena after months of preparation.
There are a variety of events and activities scheduled to take place each week including free public skating and pick-up hockey. Residents who enjoy skating or playing hockey are encouraged to attend as the arena has something for everyone in the family.
In addition to the official reopening, the popular Be More Active program will also be returning. The Be More Active program is designed to inspire both the health and well-being of participants in the community. The fall session will take place from October 7 to December 5.
Champlain Township continues to promote healthy and active lifestyles for its residents and provides this excellent opportunity for individuals.
A range of classes suitable for all fitness levels are available to choose from, whether individuals are looking to improve their personal strength, flexibility, or overall fitness. Classes will take place at both the Vankleek Hill Community Hall and L’Orignal Chalet Abri.
