A 61-year-old Lachute man was arrested after police sized illegal drugs and other items in a residence on rue St-Jacques.

During the search of the residence, police officers seized:
About fifteen grams of hashish
More than 160 grams of dried cannabis
More than 170 grams of white powder that will be analyzed
Two telescopic batons
Pepper spray
The Sûreté du Québec reminds that any information on the smuggling or production of cannabis can be communicated at any time and confidentially to the Criminal Information Center at 1 800 659-4264.
