Community foot care services for residents of Prescott and Russell counties are changing. Carefor Health & Community Services currently provides foot care services to residents of Prescott-Russell. Effective September 1, 2024, these services will be transferred to Prescott-Russell Community Services.
While the service provider will change, the service will not. The location, hours, and cost will be the same as with Carefor. The biggest change for clients will be the sign on the door as Prescott-Russell Community Services will also assume the office where the Hawkesbury clinics are held.
Both Carefor Health & Community Services and Prescott-Russell Community Services are not-for-profits with years of experience providing community services to the people of Prescott-Russell. Both agencies operate with a similar philosophy of client-centred care, the quality of care that clients will receive will be the same across organizations.
