Perfect weather greeted music lovers and musicians, as hundreds of people spread out throughout Vankleek Hill for Porchfest 2024, which featured more than two dozen musical acts playing on porches, driveways and other locations throughout the village last Saturday, July 13.

Porchfest began in Vankleek Hill in 2014 and this year the event was organized for the first time by the Vankleek Hill Live Music Co-Op, which was formed to not only organize Porchfest, but also to bring live music to Vankleek Hill year-round. This year’s event also served as a fundraiser for the Live Music Co-op.

Following Porchfest itself, a number of the musicians who had performed throughout the day gathered to perform a live jam for the outdoor event tent and patio at the Windsor Tavern.
