A power failure at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria on Thursday, June 20 was quickly resolved.
The loss of electricity led to a code grey situation at the hospital. The telephone lines at the hospital were also interrupted. That is the type of situation declared when a system critical to the facility’s operation stops working.
Thanks to a rapid response by staff and an electrical contractor, electricity at the hospital was restored in less than one hour.
