The United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) is planning to transfer 50 acres of land it owns to The Nation Municipality.
On May 22, UCPR council declared 50 acres adjacent to the Séguinbourg subdivision, located at part of Lot 11, Concession 5, Cambridge Township as surplus. The UCPR is proposing to transfer the land to The Nation Municipality for the creation of a natural park with multi-use trails.
There was no discussion at the council meeting when the declaration of surplus land was approved as a consent agenda item.
