Run or walk to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Canada on Saturday, June 8 in Vankleek Hill.

The annual Beau’s 5K for ovarian cancer is returning and it is the 10th anniversary of the event. It began under inspiration from Vankleek Hill resident Ashley Courtois (Cowan) who lost her battle to ovarian cancer at just 33 years old. All levels of runners and walkers are welcome. Families and friends are encouraged to enjoy the day of fun and fitness. Pets are welcome too!

On Saturday, June 8, registration for the Beau’s 5K opens at 9 am outside Beau’s Brewery, located at 10 Terry Fox Drive in Vankleek Hill. The race starts at 10 am. 10K participants run the route twice.

Funds raised through the Beau’s 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada will help change outcomes for ovarian cancer by accelerating research progress, providing vital support and education resources and fuelling advocacy efforts.
