The Amazing Race Canada is coming to Maxville this Friday, May 10!
Everyone is encouraged to show up at the Glengarry Highland Games site at the Maxville Fairgrounds at 12:30 pm to be part of filming for a segment of the popular TV program, The Amazing Race Canada.
Host Jon Montgomery will be there, and a parade of pipers, drummers, dancers, fiddlers, and heavyweight competitors begins at 12:30 pm. At 1:30 pm, the race teams arrive on site and will compete in Highland-themed events for the actual TV show. Organizers are hoping for extra spectators in kilts to show up and fill out the crowd.
Personal cameras ARE NOT permitted at this event due to copyright issues with film and television production. The event will take place rain or shine.
