One of the biggest curling and community events of the season is coming up at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club.
The Heart Institute Bonspiel is Saturday, February 10. Last year, the benefit for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute raised $28,500.
Interested participants can sign up at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club, located at 136 Bond Street in Vankleek Hill. The cost per-person is $25.
The smoked meat sandwich lunch is also a popular part of the Heart Institute Bonspiel. Many people stop by for lunch and to make a donation.
In its nine-year history the bonspiel has raised $131,725 for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
