The latest in a series of overnight road closures on Autoroute 50 is taking place on Thursday, February 1.
From 9 p.m. on Thursday night until 5 a.m. on Friday morning, February 2, the entire highway will be closed in both directions between the Route 329/Chemin Félix Touchette exit in Lachute and the Route 148/Arthur Sauvé exit in Mirabel.
According to the Ministère des transports du Québec, the closure is necessary for decontamination work in the area.
In recent months, work has begun to expand Autoroute 50 to a divided, four-lane highway between Lachute and Mirabel.
