A business park in Lachute focused on circular economy production is seeking applications for new industries.

The Centre d’innovation en économie circulaire Synerlab is in need of projects and invites companies to benefit from the first-class infrastructure it offers at a low cost, and to take advantage of resources and strategic advice that is available.

For several years, the Municipalité régionale de comté (MRC) d’Argenteuil has been actively investing in the establishment the business park, which aims to facilitate the transformation and valuation of materials using a circular economy approach, and enabling innovation.

Through the project, the MRC hopes to become an example of an ecosystem allowing the development and marketing of ideas or concepts related to strategies that have a favorable impact on the environment. With financial assistance from the government of Québec, Synerlab will also contribute to improving the presence of a circular economy and changes to how goods are produced and used in the province.

Synerlab’s call for projects aims to incubate or accelerate start-up or growing companies whose business is related to circular economic activities and want to become established in Argenteuil.

The targeted activities involve materials that may otherwise end up in landfills such as construction materials, plastics, textiles, metals, and glass.

The deadline to apply is February 22, 2024. The call for projects and the submission form can be found at www.synerlab.ca/deposer-un-projet. For any questions contact Christian Thibeault at 450 409-2004 or at [email protected].
