Have you always wanted to try acting? Do you speak French? Aspiring actors have the opportunity to try out their skills in upcoming auditions for Théâtre Cercle Gascon II – Hawkesbury’s own French-language community theatre.

In its 40th anniversary year, the Cercle Gascon II theatre troupe is proud and excited to continue its activities with auditions for its next play, Pour combine tu m’aimes? (For how much do you love me?), a romantic comedy by Jean Franco and Guillaume Mélanie, adapted for Canadian audiences by Louise P. Laliberté.

Cercle Gascon II is looking for three men and three women, as well as one or more stage directors. They already have a few names of female actors who are interested, but are missing male performers. No experience is needed. New members are invited to join as comedians, technicians, decorators, for make-up, and reception.

Anyone interested is asked to send their request to [email protected] . If you would like to audition, please register on the Facebook page Le Cercle Gascon II Theater Troupe Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/theatrecerclegasconII. A synopsis of the play as well as a description of the characters is listed on the page.

Auditions take place on Wednesday, December 14, at 7 p.m. in Room 39 in the basement of the Assaly Arcade at 151 Main Street East in Hawkesbury. Please use the back entrance.
