The Grenville community centre was a busy place on Saturday, November 12, as the Grenville Elementary Home and School held its annual Craft Fair. Proceeds from the event are used to fund field trip transportation, outdoor activity equipment, and agenda books for students at Grenville Elementary School.

According to event organizer Vera Young, there were about 40 to 45 vendors at this year’s sale. In addition to various arts, crafts, and foods being sold by vendors from around the region, Home and School was also selling baking and holding draws for unique items.

Home and School President Michelle Deslauriers said she was impressed with the attendance.

“Anything to help the kids,” she said.

“That’s why we do it every year,” added Deslauriers.
