The annual Vankleek Hill Horse and Buggy Parade is back in person this Sunday (July 10), with participants eager to get back in the saddle after two years of the event being held virtually.

Horses have always been a tradition in Vankleek Hill and in 2022 the 26th edition of the parade will be in person, kicking off at the Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds with the Ecumenical church service at 11 am. The Horse and Buggy Parade itself will begin at 1 p.m. on Main Street in front of the fairgrounds, making its way throughout the town, and will end back at the fairgrounds at 4 p.m.

The annual event is put together by Excellent Events and organizers have asked participants to showcase their best buggies, tricks, grooming, riding apparel, and of course best smiles.
