Celtic band Mariner’s Curse headlines the Vankleek Hill Food Bank Jamboree this Saturday, July 9, one of seven performers for the event, which will be set up with a large stage and event tent in the parking lot of the Windsor Tavern on Main Street.

Mike Lemieux takes the stage at 4 p.m. and will play a mixture of everything from rock, to country, to requests. Lemieux will be followed by Mary and Nancy’s Acoustic Session, featuring a pair of powerhouse female performers on vocals, guitar and saxophone. The duo will be on stage from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sidetrack plays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by Timeless from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Rock band Madhouse – the featured band at the 2019 edition of the Food Bank Jamboree – will play a high energy rock set from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Madhouse will also perform indoors at the Windsor from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. after the jamboree closes.

Featured act Mariner’s Curse hits the stage from 9-11 p.m. Mariner’s Curse, formed from the bubbling cauldron of several previous bands, features Celtic and Canadiana music with tightly knit counterpoint and multi-part harmonies.
