Members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle in North Glengarry Township.
On June 30, just after 12:15 p.m., OPP officers, members of the North Glengarry Fire Department and the Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services responded to a single vehicle collision on McCormick Road, North Glengarry Township, east of Alexandria.
The driver, Peter McVey, 70 years old, from the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, Ontario, west of Belleville, was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation continues with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Reconstructionist.
