Seven of the nine municipalities in the MRC d’Argenteuil are receiving a combined total of $2,006,831 from the Québec government for local road improvements.
Grenville-sur-la-Rouge will receive $652,362, which is the largest amount being received by any single municipality in the MRC d’Argenteuil.
The second-largest amount of local roads funding from the province in the MRC d’Argenteuil is being given to Brownsburg-Chatham. That municipality will receive $412,870. The third-largest amount is $390,102 for the Township of Harrington.
The Québec government is granting $211,600 to St-André-d’Argenteuil for local roads and $205,492 for roads in the Township of Gore. Mille-Isles will receive $92,561 in provincial funding for roads, and Wentworth is receiving $41,844 in road funding from the Québec government.
