Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Serge Trottier of Rockland, who matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the February 24, DAILY GRAND draw to win $100,000!
Trottier, 55, says he plays the lottery often.
“I always play Quick Picks – this is my first big win,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
The construction foreman and father of one says he checked his ticket using the OLG App.
“I was surprised and happy to see I won. I thought it was $100 at first,” he said. “I told my wife and then I called my son to share the news.”
Trottier plans to pay some bills, help his son and plan a vacation for next year.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Rue Laurier in Rockland.
