The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is asking for the public’s help to to identify two suspects involved in two alleged arsons that occurred in recent weeks in the MRCs of Argenteuil and Pays-d’en-Haut.

A little before midnight on February 8, two vehicles parked in a private entrance on chemin du Lac Louisa in Wentworth-Nord were set on fire.

The investigation has revealed that two suspects wearing dark colored clothes may have arrived at the scene in a grey Cadillac SRX.

On March 1, at around 4:00 a.m., a commercial building on route du Nord (Route 327) in Brownsburg-Chatham was also the target of a fire. According to the information collected to date by police, it could be connected with the earlier fire in Wentworth-Nord.

Any information that may allow these suspects to be traced or anyone with information relating to the events is asked to contact the Criminal Information Centre of the Sûreté du Québec at 1 800 659-4264. All calls are kept confidential.
