Registration is now open for the 2022 season of the Vankleek Hill Softball League.
Prospective players male and female players in the mixed softball league are asked to register before April 10 for play in the league by emailing Derek Ravary at [email protected] or calling/texting 613-295-4576.
Fees are $100 for new players, or returning players if in need of a new jersey (change of team) and $80 for returning players who already have their jersey. Fees can be paid cash to Ravary or by e-transfer to [email protected].
Players may register individually, as a group, or as a full team and must be at least 18 years old to play. Teams will be capped at 20 players, with a minimum of 12 players per team. Partial teams may be joined together by league management, depending on registration numbers. Registration is first come first served.
The 2022 Vankleek Hill Softball League season is scheduled to begin on May 3, with the date subject to weather and condition of the ball diamond at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre. Play will continue until August 30, with the playoffs taking place in September. Teams will play once per week, with games played on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 6:30 and 8:30 pm.
