A Hawkesbury couple is planning a family vacation after winning more than $1 million in a recent LOTTO 6/49 draw.
André and Christiane Joly won a LOTTO 6/49 guaranteed prize worth $1 million in the January 26, 2022 draw. They also won $2 on their ENCORE selection, bringing their total winnings to $1,000,002.
The couple said they checked their ticket on the OLG App and were very excited to discover they won big.
“We told our daughter right away!” shared André, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their winnings.
The grandparents of two plan to go on a family vacation and complete home renovations with their winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Asselin’s Your Independent Grocer on Cameron Street in Hawkesbury.
