Two childcare projects in the Argenteuil electoral district have received a total of $13,560 in funding from the Québec government.

The announcement was made on February 17 by Argenteuil representative in the National Assembly, Agnès Grondin. The amount for Argenteuil is part of a larger announcement made by Minister of Families Mathieu Lacombe of $574,000 in funding for similar childcare projects in 54 communities across Québec. The objective is to implement new childcare projects or improve existing projects to facilitate the organization of time for parents who are working or studying.

In the Argenteuil district, the Ville de Lachute is receiving $10,560 for its childcare programming, and the Base de plein air Bon départ in Wentworth-Nord is receiving $3,000.
