The Ontario Fire Marshall is investigating a residential fire in Clarence-Rockland that sent one person to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On January 29, 2022, shortly after 6 a.m., Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a residential fire on Rollin Road in Saint-Pascal-Baylon, Ontario.

The Clarence-Rockland Fire Department members attended the scene to extinguish the fire. One person was unaccounted for when the emergency responders arrived. A second person was transported to the hospital by the Prescott-Russell Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with non-life threatening injuries.

The Ontario Fire Marshall (OFM) assisted by Russell County OPP officers and the Russell County OPP Crime Unit continue the investigation.
