In addition to outbreaks at hospitals in Hawkesbury and Alexandria, there were COVID-19 outbreaks at nine long-term care, retirement, and group living facilities in Prescott and Russell as of Wednesday, January 5.  

COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared at the Prescott and Russell Residence and at Place Mont-Roc retirement residence, both located in Hawkesbury. 

Outbreaks are also in effect at Heritage Lodge in Vankleek Hill, Valoris Le Domaine in Casselman, Jardins Belle Rive in Rockland, Foyer St-Jacques in Embrun, Centre d’Acceuil Roger Séguin in Clarence Creek, and Foyer St-Viateur in Limoges. 

As of January 5, there were 2,592 active cases of COVID-19 across the territory of the Eastern Ontario Health Unit. There were 212 cases in Hawkesbury and 124 cases in Champlain Township.
