Wondering what to do with your empties from this past holiday season? Look no further. The Friends of the Champlain Library continues to hold an ongoing bottle drive to raise funds for programming.

Donations of empty beer, wine and spirit bottles and cans can be dropped off at Dépanneur Lalande at 143 Main Street in Vankleek Hill. Don’t forget to mention it is a donation for the library. Please do not leave empties outside the library.

The fundraising efforts of the Friends of the Library have been curtailed this past year due to many restrictions, so please consider donating your empties on the group’s behalf. In the past, the Friends group has been involved in preparing the Book on Every Bed packages for recipients of the local Food Banks and holds book sales to raise funds for programming.
