A 44-year-old woman from Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, was pronounced deceased at the scene of a collision in East Hawkesbury on Wednesday, December 29.
Shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday, Hawkesbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from the Travel Information Centre - East Hawkesbury.
Investigation has indicated that shortly after 8 a.m, a westbound passenger vehicle rear-ended a tractor trailer on the on-ramp to Highway 417 from the Travel Information Centre The adult female driver Josee Grenier, age 44, from Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, of the westbound passenger vehicle was pronounced deceased at scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was uninjured.
Hawkesbury OPP continue to investigate with the assistance of OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
