The Hawkesbury Hawks will be looking to bounce back after a tough pair of weekend losses.

The Hawks fell 5-3 in a road loss to the Rockland Nationals on Sunday, December 5, just two days after dropping a 4-1 decision at home to the league-leading Ottawa Junior Senators.

John Mulvihill had two goals for Rockland in Sunday’s win, with Alexandre Fréchette, Nick White and Justin Dauphinais adding singles. Jakson Kirk, Tyler Samodral and Michael Andrews replied for Hawkesbury.

On Friday, December 3, Landon Brownlee staked the Hawks to a 1-0 lead after the first period, but Ottawa replied with a pair of unanswered goals in both the second and third periods for the 4-1 win.

Hawkesbury hosts the Nepean Raiders this Friday, December 10, in a game that starts at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, December 12, the Hawks travel to Cornwall to face the Colts.

Hawkesbury will host a rare Tuesday game on December 14 against the Brockville Braves. Gametime is 7:30 p.m. at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex.
