To The Editor,

I just finished reading Gary Champagne’s letter – I always enjoy reading them as well as those from other people. A collection of words, sentiments and opinions to hopefully make people think and feel something.

Face it, our letters are put in a newspaper of a very small town at a time when small newspapers are simply vanishing. I truly feel honored that our paper is still here and look forward to seeing it in my mail box every second Wednesday. I can’t thank the people who work at The Review enough for their quality of work and dedication.

I truly believe there is a direct correlation between the paper and the planet we are now occupying. The state of both is being threatened as the new electronic world marches forward, and to where exactly, no one is quite sure when our extinction looms. Should we worry? Definitely. But do we? No. Should we care? Definitely. But do we? No. should we do something to stop the destruction of our world, our planet from the grasp of the corporate world and the control the electronics have over everyone? -We should, but we won’t because we don’t know how and neither do our governments around the world.

We don’t know how to think for ourselves anymore, we let the A.I. do that for us. Corporations have been running governments for decades, but with the advent of Facebook, tik tok, Google, tek messaging and other such things, the minds of billions of people around the world are being monitored, conditioned and controlled to perhaps go to war, or not get a vaccine, not to think of climate change, or to forget and ignore certain things that might have a negative effect in the markets, the very markets we no longer control.

There are some very dark things happening in our subconscious and a handful of very powerful people are the ‘Puppet Masters’ of our world at the present time. Why? Because we let them. It’s more convenient that way, for us. We don’t have to think, we don’t have to do – we exist and stay plugged in and they’ll do all the rest… their way.

Climate Change and Global Warming are very real and present dangers, worse than the Pandemic, worse than the first and second world wars and all other wars around the world put together. Why you ask? Because all of those we were a part of we also finished either in victory or defeat, but with what we have created with Climate Change, victory is simply unattainable and our being defeated is the only possible outcome.

This planet was created to be able to regenerate herself, keep herself healthy, but then we showed up and rather than working with the planet we chose to change her to our way of thinking, sort of like residential schools but on a worldwide scale.

The very worse thing anyone can do is to underestimate your own advice and that’s exactly what we as a people are doing. We are the architects of our own demise. I’d like to say things will get worse before they get better, I just don’t see them ever getting better.

To all the young people on our planet: unfortunately we, the older generation, have left you a real mess, and don’t expect any help from us to clean it up, because that task is now being dumped on your shoulders. It’s up to you to be seen and heard, to make a stand for your future because basically we’re outta trees, outta time and outta luck.

Do something now, for even a slim chance.

Good luck and stay safe,

Andy Perreault
