Library card sign up incentives will continue throughout the month of October at the Champlain Library.

During the month of September, staff members greeted existing patrons and signed up new members during five Pop Up locations in Vankleek Hill and L’Orignal. Each week anyone who signed up during that week received a cell phone cradle and had a chance to win a free book. The grand prize winner for the month won a basket which contained books, a mug from Broken Ketttle Bakery and Barkey and a bag of coffee from Totem Roasters.

Good news! Any new member signing up to the library during the month of October will also receive a cell phone cradle. Free library cards are available to anyone living in Champlain Township or East Hawkesbury as well as any student who attends a school in Champlain Township.

Don’t have a library card yet? Simply go to the library’s website at bc-cl.ca to complete an online membership form. Don’t delay. Sign up today.
