Applications are now open for annual community grants in The Township of Champlain.
The Community Grant is for non-profit community groups and organizations whose primary focus is to provide direct services, events or programs for the benefit of the residents of Champlain. The Facility Usage Grant is for organizations who is seeking a grant equivalent to the rental fee for a township facility.
The township notes on its website that it acknowledges and appreciates the efforts of the local volunteer community and believes that many services, events or projects are best provided through the volunteer efforts of local community organizations, whether at the social, cultural, recreation, sports or economic levels.
Grant applications can be submitted on the Township of Champlain’s website by clicking on the application form from September 1 to October 15 of each year, for the following year. Further information can also be obtained on the program through the same length.
