There’s an update from the Ministère des transports du Québec (MTQ) about ongoing bridge work and road closures near Pine Hill in Brownsburg-Chatham.

Chemin Saint-Michel, near rue Lépine will be completely closed on Tuesday, August 10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This short-term closure is necessary due to work over the nearby chemin Lépine bridge across Rivière de l’ouest.

The entire project is to be completed by August 21.

During the closure, a 38-kilometre detour road will be accessible via Route 327, chemin de la Rivière-Perdue and route Principale.

The work schedule can change due to operational constraints, on-site progress, or weather conditions.

Drivers are invited to consult Québec 511 in order to find out about the current situation.
