Effective August 4, the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) is cancelling the standby list which allowed area residents to receive a COVID-19 vaccination if extra doses were available at clinics due to changes in scheduling or appointment cancellations.

Residents still have the opportunity to book COVID-19 vaccinations by visiting EOHU vaccination clinics as a walk-in, or by making an appointment. Pop-up clinics and other smaller clinics are still being held around the region. Vaccinations are also available at participating pharmacies.

Complete information on booking, clinics, and pharmacies is available at https://eohu.ca/en/covid/list-of-upcoming-covid-19-vaccination-clinics .

As of August 4, there were only four active cases of COVID-19 across the EOHU’s jurisdiction.
