Any time of day you can find people walking their dog(s) on any street in Vankleek Hill, as in several other towns.

Most people respect other people’s properties and will (if need be) pick up fecal matters when the animal relieves itself on someone’s property. BUT this is not always the case. It is usually the same dog owners who choose to ignore what has happened. This is E-Coli left in the open.

Even worse, some individuals let their dogs run loose in their neighborhood – again choosing to ignore what their dogs leave behind on other people’s properties. .

Children play on lawns, adults walk on grass to access plants etc., and stepping on these leave behinds is quite unpleasant. Should we be forced to identify the culprits or will using basic common respect become normal and routine?
