The Glengarry Pioneer Museum’s grounds will open to visitors for the first time in 2021 on Tuesday, June 22.

The museum in Dunvegan is open to the public for outdoor viewing and sneak peaks from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., beginning June 22. Visitors are allowed to take self-guided walking tours of the historic site, as well as use the picnic tables and washroom facilities.

Buildings will be open to view, but not to enter. The gift shop will open with limited capacity.

Staff at the museum continue to follow the latest guidelines set out by the Ontario government and the Eastern Ontario Health Unit. The Glengarry Pioneer Museum has extensive outdoor space and seating to allow for social distancing while visiting.
