Champlain Township residents will have one last chance to give their opinion on the municipality’s proposed Strategic Plan, at an online forum scheduled for Wednesday, May 12.
From 6:30-7:30 p.m. on May 12, MDB Insight will host the public forum on the Zoom platform to discuss with residents their concerns and insights regarding Champlain Township’s vision and mission for the coming years. Those who wish to participate in the forum are asked to RSVP in advance to [email protected] or call the township at 613-678-3003, extension 234. A Zoom link to the meeting will be sent out via email to those who have registered in advance. Registration will remain open until 4 p.m. on May 12.
Anyone who is unable to watch the forum live can view it later through the township’s website and provide their feedback directly to MDB Insight, which is conducting the township’s Corporate Strategic Plan and Economic Development Strategic Plan.
Included with their tax bills, Champlain taxpayers received a card with a code inviting them to complete the survey online. The survey ended March 22.
A total of 290 completed surveys were received, including 84 from businesses in the township. Results from the survey will be added to other information collected by MDB Insight to help develop an overall direction for the township.
