PLEO – Parents Lifeline is hosting an online panel workshop on May 3, to help provide information for parents and providers on how to identify children who are struggling with mental health issues.
The free webinar ‘Are The Kids OK?’ will provide information for parents on what to do if they think their child needs help. Three local professionals will address youth mental health and addiction issues, each doing 20-minute presentations on the subject, followed by a 40-minute question and answer period.
Presenters include Micheal Hone, Executive Director of the Crossroads Children’s Mental Health Centre; Kevin Clouthier, Executive Director of Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth; and Elyse Schipper, Executive Director of Parents’ Lifelines of Eastern Ontario (PLEO).
