Recipe Swap at the Champlain Library

Do you find yourself cooking the same things every week or just ate too much over the holidays? Get out of your cooking slump and try some new recipes this month. Email your recipes to [email protected] or drop an envelope with your recipe in the library’s drop box. Patrons who participate in the recipe swap/exchange will have their name entered into a draw to win a free book. The draw will be held on Friday, January 29th. Recipes will be posted on the library’s website.

To coincide with the “Recipe Swap” this month, the library has prepared adult book bags in English and French. Each book bag contains two cookbooks, a magazine, a novel, a Music CD to listen to while you’re in the kitchen and a video to enjoy after you’ve cleaned up. The contents of the book bags change throughout the year, so keep your eyes out for the next theme. Reserve your book bag today by visiting the library’s online catalogue at bc-cl.ca.

For more information on the Champlain Library visit the library’s website, social media platforms or call 613-678-2216.
