There were 328 active cases of COVID-19 in the Laurentides region of Québec as of November 27.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in 11 deaths in Argenteuil, and 332 deaths across the Laurentides.

Schools and long-term care

There were no cases of COVID-19 among schools across the MRC d’Argenteuil as of November 26.

No outbreaks of COVID-19 were in effect at long-term care facilities, other group living institutions, or hospitals across the MRC d’Argenteuil as of November 26.

The MRC d’Argenteuil remained as an orange zone under Québec`s regional system of COVID-19 measures, as of November 27, even though it has an extremely low number of active cases.  Argenteuil is surrounded by orange and red zones with higher numbers of cases.

Across Québec as of November 26, there were 11,452 active cases of COVID-19, according to the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ).  There were 138,163 cumulative cases and 119,727 resolved cases as of Thursday.

There were 669 COVID-19 patients in hospital across Québec as of November 26, and 90 of those patients were in intensive care.

There had been 6,984 confirmed deaths due to COVID-19 across Québec as of November 26.
