The number of active cases of COVID-19 across the MRC d’Argenteuil had decreased to 10 as of Tuesday, November 10.  There had been 12 active cases among the population of the MRC d’Argenteuil as of November 6.  According to the CISSS des Laurentides regional health authority, the cumulative case count for Argenteuil was 246 as of Tuesday.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Argenteuil as of November 10 remained at 11.

Schools and long-term care

École Polyvalente Lavigne in Lachute, Centre d’éducation aux adultes CDC Lachute, and Seminaire du Sacré-Coeur in Pointe-au-chêne/Grenville-sur-la-Rouge were the three schools in the MRC d’Argenteuil with listed cases of COVID-19 as of November 9.

There were no outbreaks of COVID-19 at long-term care facilities, other group living institutions, or hospitals across the MRC d’Argenteuil as of November 9.

Under Québec’s COVID-19 regional alert system on restrictions and regulations, the MRC d’Argenteuil remained as an orange zone, as of November 10.

Across Québec there were 10,937 active cases of COVID-19  as of Monday, November 9.  According to the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), there were 117,151 cumulative cases and 99,721 resolved cases as of Tuesday.

There were 534 COVID-19 patients in hospital across Québec as of November 9, and 82 of those patients were in intensive care.

There had been 6,493 confirmed deaths due to COVID-19 across Québec as of November 9.
