There have been two additional resident deaths resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak at the Prescott and Russell Residence.
The United Counties of Prescott and Russell, which owns and operates the long-term care facility in Hawkesbury, confirmed the two deaths late on Thursday afternoon, October 29.
There have now been seven deaths among residents as a result of the outbreak.
As of October 29, there were 72 active cases of COVID-19 at the 146-bed Residence. Out of those 72 cases, 45 were among residents, and 27 were among employees.
There have been 134 cases of COVID-19 due to the outbreak at the Prescott and Russell Residence. As of Thursday, 55 cases were resolved.
