Mark your calendar today! The Champlain Library will be holding a book sale outside of the library at 94 Main Street as well as at the Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market at 79 Derby Avenue in Vankleek Hill. The Friends of the Library will be on hand to help with the sale which will take place on Saturday, September 19 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Items for sale will include fiction and non-fiction books in English and French as well as magazines, DVDs and audio books. Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase children’s books, large print books and e-books as e-book loans have increased during the pandemic. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, fundraising for book purchases has been restricted, so holding a book sale will help support the costs associated with maintaining the collection.

The library staff looks forward to seeing you at the book sale and in the meantime, you can visit or call 613-678-2216 for more information.
