According to the CISSS des Laurentides regional health authority, there had been a cumulative 109 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the MRC d’Argenteuil as of Friday, August 14. The authority did not provide numbers of how many active or resolved cases there were in the MRC. The CISSS des Laurentides serves seven MRC’s and the municipality of Mirabel.
As of August 14, there were no COVID-19 outbreaks at long-term care or other group living facilities in the MRC d’Argenteuil.
According to the CISSS des Laurentides, there had been 4,091 confirmed COVID-19 cases across its territory since the pandemic began. Out of those 4,091 confirmed cases, 426 remained active as of August 14 and 3,665 were resolved.
There had been nine deaths due to COVID-19 across the MRC d’Argenteuil as of August 14.
Québec COVID-19 statistics
As of August 14, there had been 61,004 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across Québec. According to the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), 53,598 cases of COVID-19 across Québec were resolved as of August 13, which means that 87.8 per cent of the 61,004 cases were resolved and that there were 7,406 active cases across Québec.
There were 151 COVID-19 patients in hospital across Québec as of August 14. Among those 151 patients, 25 were in intensive care.
Across Québec as of August 14, there had been 5,718 confirmed deaths due to COVID-19.
