Travel and vacations are going to be different this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Sunday, June 21, the Québec government announced a series of programs to encourage residents to travel within Québec.
Minister of Tourism Caroline Proulx, and Minister of Transport and Minister responsible for the Montréal Region Chantal Rouleau, unveiled offers inviting Quebecers to discover Québec.
These include Explore Quebec on the Road packages, and Passports attractions.

These offers are part of the Tourism Recovery Plan, unveiled on June 11. They represent government investments of $ 20 million for the benefit of consumers and tourism businesses. By promoting intra-Québec tourism, these measures encourage the revival of the tourism industry and will generate economic spinoffs in the regions.
Explore Québec on the Road is a new component of the Explore Quebec program, originally created to access remote regions thanks to a reduced airfare. The packages include transportation, by land rather than air, as well as a minimum of two nights and two flagship attractions in the region.
Quebecers will be able to benefit from a 25% discount on the sale price of packages to Québec regions offered by travel agencies, tour operators and receptive agencies.
Visit BonjourQuébec.com for more information. The purchase must be made directly from the agencies. This offer will be improved as new plans are put in place.
The Passport attractions program reduces the cost of access to tourist attractions in Québec at a 20% discount on the purchase of a passport for two attractions, 30% for three attractions and 40% for four attractions.
