All Hawkesbury municipal facilities closed to the public

The Town of Hawkesbury has announced further restrictions on access to municipal facilities as a precaution against COVID-19.  There will be no public access to the town hall, fire station or municipal garage until further notice.

The Hawkesbury Public Library is now closed until April 5.

Following directives from the Eastern Ontario Health Unit and the Ministry of Health, the town has closed the Robert Hartley Sports Complex until further notice in order to protect the community.

Hawkibou’s Birthday, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, has been cancelled.  However, the Recreation Department hopes the event can be held at a later date.

All complex rental fees will be cancelled and fees for cancelled aquatic classes will be credited to the customer’s account.

The town has created a COVID-19 information website with information for residents regarding public health and related information.  https://www.hawkesbury.ca/en/living/latest-news-and-notices/coronavirus
