The food bank that serves the western part of the MRC d’Argenteuil is on the move.
On March 20, the Réseau de depannage du secteur ouest food bank is moving from rue Principale in Calumet to 289 rue Principale in Grenville village, which was formerly a post office.
President Paul-André Aubry said the reason for the move is that they simply needed more space.
He said the food bank has 70 clients presently, but not all of them use the facility consistently.
The regional food bank network pays the rent for the space used by the local food bank.
Aubry said the move will take place on the morning of Thursday, March 20.
