Whether you are interested in visual arts, literary arts or performing arts, the Champlain Library is encouraging patrons to read about these disciplines during the month of March as part of its “Read 20 Books in 2020” challenge.  The arts refer to the theory and physical expression of creativity found in human cultures and societies and includes, but is not limited to, music, dance, drama, creative writing, painting, photography, motion pictures, radio, film etc.

The arts can improve your creative skills, give you joy, relieve your stress, give you confidence and help you to communicate with other people.  What better way to experience the arts than by reading about artists who have lived and breathed this creative expression.

Please visit the Champlain Library and discover what books, DVDs and music CDs interest you today.  For more information please contact the library by calling 613-678-2216, on Facebook, Instagram or visit the website at www.bc-cl.ca.
