A brand new skate park. But it’s not what you think. This skate park is really a skate path, which makes it quintessentially Canadian.

The City of Clarence-Rockland is inviting the community to the grand opening of Parc Alain Potvin Park on Saturday, February 8, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

You can catch the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m., and there will be entertainment, music, a campfire, maple taffy on snow and hot chocolate too — all to celebrate this new concept for Clarence-Rockland — which is all about winter and includes a sledding hill and an outdoor skating path.
